I’m Samantha Amen, a doctorate-prepared critical care nurse with over eight years in leadership and time at the bedside. I’ve worked in every type of ICU, from CVICU to transplant to trauma, and led teams in the toughest moments hospitals face. My leadership journey was fast and intentional, because I’ve always been obsessed with how things actually work.

I created Amen Nurse Collective because I believe leadership should be transparent, accessible, and human. I don’t gatekeep. I don’t play games. And I don’t think you should have to prove yourself before someone invests in your growth. I never had the mentor I needed when I was rising, so now I’m building what I wish existed. A safe, honest space where new and emerging nurse leaders can grow without fear or intimidation.
